Ayurvedic Herbal Formula for Healthy Hair

Healthy Hair, 90 tablets

Ayurvedic teachers differ on whether hair loss and premature graying are due to vata or pitta, but all agree that luxurious, strong hair is the prize of those with water and earth constitutions. Bhringaraj leaf is the main ingredient in all Ayurvedic hair formulas. It aids both the scalp and hair. This formula supports the liver's work of removing toxins and may be more suitable for those whose hair issues stem from exposure to toxins (as opposed to male pattern baldness which is more of an adrenal issue.)

Ingredients: Bhringaraj leaf, Eclipta alba*; Amalaki fruit, Emblica officinalis*; Brahmi leaf, Centella asiatica*.

Stone Breaker Extract, 2 oz.

Phyllanthus amarus in known in South America as "chanca piedra" or breaker of stones. There, it is used mainly for kidney stones but also for gall stones and many other disorders ranging from malaria to liver cancer. In Ayurvedic medicine Phyllanthus amarus is known as bhumi amalaki. It is revered as a major detoxifying and liver rejuvenative herb. It is recommended that it be used in small amounts over a long period of time. Modern studies support traditional uses and suggest that Phyllanthus amarus prevents mutation of liver cells when exposed to carcinogens.

Ingredients: Phyllanthus amarus leaf extract, 1:3, in Distilled Water, Organic Alcohol, and Vegetable Glycerin.
